Supportive Eye Care Tips


By so many of us expenses lots of time in front of the computer every day it comes to no
surprise that study is showing a rise in visual harms. What can one do? First, it’s important
to find out how you can guard your eyes through eye health exams and by making a few
minor changes in your computer viewing practice.


Here are some supportive Eye Care Tips -
Positioning is the whole thing -
Correct positioning of your computer, keyboard and typing duplicate is indispensable. Your screen is supposed to be positioned about an arm’s length from your eyes and 20 degrees
below eye level. Regard as foot and wrist rests for added reassure.

Illumination can make all the distinction -
Room illumination should be diffuse, not direct, to diminish glare and reflections from your display. Look into an internal or external glare screen and be sure to set your colour, contrast and brilliance levels to suit you.

A petite extra help for your specs -
Anti-reflective coatings on the lenses of your specs can be applied by your optometrist to
reduce anxiety and to ease reduced vision from bright and/or flickering light sources such
as VDTs and luminous lights. And don’t forget, your doctor of optometry can talk to you
about spectacles designed specifically for citizens who use computers a lot.

The 2012 Summer Olympic Games, officially the Games of the XXX Olympiad, also known informally as London 2012, is scheduled to take place in London, United Kingdom, from 27 July (when the opening ceremony is held) until 12 August 2012. The first event, the group stages in women's football, began two days earlier on 25 July.Over 10,000 athletes from 204 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) are expected to participate.
Following a bid headed by former Olympic champion Sebastian Coe and the then Mayor of London Ken Livingstone, London was selected as the host city on 6 July 2005 during the 117th IOC Session in Singapore, defeating bids from Moscow, New York City, Madrid and Paris. London will become the first city to officially host the modern Olympic Games three times,having previously done so in 1908 and in 1948.

Ufone Has Now Increased Balance Inquiry Charges By 50 Percent



Following the footsteps of Mobilink and Telenor, Ufone has now increased balance inquiry charges by 50 percent, revealed a press ad published in various newspapers today.

After August 1st, 2012, Ufone will charge its customers 15 Paisas plus tax or 18 Paisas (including tax) for all balance inquiry requests through *124# or by dialing 124.
